Fumi was born in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international business from Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo, and worked in a fashion company for several years before turning to photography, and studying it at one of Madrid's most prestigious photography schools.

Fumi has worked as a freelance photographer for the past decade, and traveled all over the world. Her work has been reproduced in various significant Korean and Japanese airline and fashion magazines.

More recently, Fumi' s work explores her original fascination with organic design, especially with color and the world of infinite color combinations that everyday life embraces.

In the summer of 2020, upon moving back to Madrid, she finished her “Taiwan” collection, which was inspired by the many aspects of her life during her four years there (2016-2020).

東京生まれ

東京にて、ファッション業界で仕事をしたのち、

スペイン、マドリッドで写真を学ぶ。

ブルガリア、ソフィアに転居し、フリーのカメラマンとして、主に旅行の写真、記事を手がける。

韓国、ソウルに転居。航空会社の機内誌の仕事を始める。

マドリッドに再転居。ファッション雑誌のスペイン特集にかかわる。

再度、ソウルへ。グラフィックアートに転向し、作品を発表し始める。

その後、活動の拠点をマドリッド、台北と移すが、2020年夏から４年間の台湾ののち、マドリッドに帰国。

現在、マドリッドで活動中。
